The implementation of inventory management within a company is of fundamental importance to support strategic decision-making, such as purchases of raw materials and production volume. In view of this, the kanban supply system presents the concept of reducing inventory, avoiding high amounts invested in raw materials. The developed work aims to implement the kanban system in a production line of screws in a company in the region of Joinville. With the implementation of the kanban system, it was possible to reduce about 30% of the stock level, monitor the stock level visually, and increase production flexibility and agility in the availability of parts.
