The role of technological disruption in transforming the business environment and its challenges for established companies have been widely discussed in recent decades. In this scenario, entrepreneurial behavior can be crucial in shaping effective strategic responses of these organizations in the face of disruption contexts. This article explores the intersection between these themes, technological disruption, and entrepreneurial behavior, based on the studies of Filion (1993) and Si and Chen (2020). The research methodology is exploratory, qualitative, and bibliographic. The results indicate that personal characteristics of entrepreneurs can influence strategic responses to disruption. It concludes that future research should explore the impact of behavioral factors on the entrepreneurial capacity to deal with disruptive innovations and technological disruption, contributing to the literature in the areas of strategy, technology, and organizational behavior.
