This research explores the thematic landscape of discussions on Artificial Intelligence (AI) biases within the r/ChatGPT subreddit community. Using data collected via the “Communalytic” platform, we analyzed thousands of posts, comments, and replies containing the keyword “bias”. Through thematic clustering and qualitative analysis, we identified prevalent topics, including government regulation of AI, human-AI interaction, and AI’s replication of human biases. Larger clusters focused on regulatory and societal impacts, with diverse viewpoints on how policies might shape the ethical use of AI. Other significant themes encompassed gender and racial biases, political and ideological influences, and applications of AI in medicine and mental health. The main findings suggest that users perceive AI biases as reflections of broader social and political biases. Also reveals the variety in user perspectives, with some viewing AI as politically biased in opposing directions. The analysis highlights that bias in AI is a multidimensional issue involving technical, social, and human factors. Finally, this study contributes to understanding user concerns and expectations around AI, offering insights for future research on AI bias, regulation, and ethical considerations
