This study aims to develop a decision support tool based on BI techniques, designed to optimize the management of the Water for Injection (WFI) treatment system in a pharmaceutical industry, aligned with business rules that, guarantee the quality, traceability, and compliance of the process. The methodology adopted is structured in five main stages: acquisition of operational data; development of a digital tool for standardized data entry; storage and consolidation of information; dynamic visualization through dashboards; and analysis of performance indicators to support decision-making. As a practical solution, a UserForm® in Microsoft Excel® and a form in Microsoft Forms® were created for field data collection, which optimized the capture of operational readings. The data were processed using Power Query® and presented in Power BI®, which allowed for automation in the cleaning, filtering, and validation stages regarding integrity and consistency. Among the main products generated were indicators of temperature, conductivity, flow rate, and water consumption, which operated as essential information services for management. These indicators enable the early identification of deviations, rapid responses to non-conformities, and the promotion of continuous improvement. The application of this methodology has yielded gains in operational efficiency and reliability. For the production sector, the direct consumer of the service, the benefits include the safety and quality of the input, ensuring compliance with the regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical sector.
