A importância da visão sistêmica para lideranças em contextos complexos, uma revisão integrativa da literatura

Leading today becomes a challenge, given the intensity of changes experienced in society, in a period of digital transformation. The challenges are present within organizations and are mainly related to technology, processes and people. In this way, it is understood that organizations are complex adaptive systems, as they have a frequent need to adapt to the complexity that is constantly presented in the changes presented. The objective of this article is to analyze the scientific publications of the last decade seeking subsidies to understand how systems thinking can help leaders to deal with complexity. For this, an integrative literature review was carried out in the Scopus, Web of Science and Ebsco databases. Among the publications analyzed, four categories stood out that highlight the importance of systems thinking for leaders: Complex Adaptive Systems and Leadership; Competencies and values that guide leaders; Model proposals and assessment of systemic thinking in leadership. The analysis of the publications showed the importance of systems thinking for leaders, especially from the point of view of the relationships that are established within teams and organizations, being interesting the development of certain competencies by leaders to deal with complexity from systemic thinking.
