In the modern world, organizations need to be constantly looking for ways to improve their production processes. One way to achieve this goal is through the use of basic quality tools, which are widely used by organizations. In this work we used the check sheet, the Pareto chart, cause and effect diagram, 5W2H and FPY. This work aims to reduce the high rate of production loss in the Exat test in the production lines of a company located in the State of Amazonas that operates in the electronic sector. After the analysis it was concluded that the high failure rate in Exat is linked to high numbering / misalignment / bad contact, identifying the causes of the failure and then was built and implemented action plan that decreased the rate by 75% compared to December
