Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are increasingly used in all Knowledge Management (KM) processes. Among these technologies are web 2.0, collaborative technologies, social networking tools such, wikis, internal blogging, enterprise social networking (ESN), etc. The web 2.0 also called the social web can be defined as the second generation of community-oriented web services in which everyone can communicate, share and collaborate. Consequently, the term KM 2.0 was created summarize its trends and refers to the acquisition, creation and sharing of collective intelligence through social networks and knowledge communities. Thus, through the literature review the objective of this work is to point out the possibilities of ESN for GC 2.0 from examples of use. ESNs are adopted to improve communication, collaboration and sharing, as well as fostering knowledge management. It has been found that ESNs can bring benefits, but they also represent challenges and risks. It is not expected to exhaust the subject; the proposal is to look at the question and produce reflections that can give conditions to perceive the tendencies of KM 2.0 using ESN.
