Resumen

This article conducts a bibliometric analysis on the application of Modeling and Simulation as a Service (MSaaS) in cloud computing environments. Utilizing tools such as VOSviewer and Gephi, the study identifies research trends, significant keywords, and the most cited articles in the field. The research underscores the importance of interoperability, data protection, availability, flexibility, and scalability offered by MSaaS. It also discusses major technological advancements and the challenges encountered in its implementation. The findings highlight the evolution of the field and the increasing adoption of MSaaS across operational and defense contexts, enhancing understanding of its impact on simulation technology. The bibliometric analysis reveals a predominance of publications in Computer Science, reflecting the technological nature of MSaaS and its significance in the development of advanced algorithms and simulation methodologies.
