Abstract

This case presents the development of training projects and consultancy in Local Productive Arrangements (APLs) of Information Technology located in three cities in Brazil, here referred to as A, B and C. The projects are part of the Program for Development of New Markets (PDNM) concluded between the National Service for Industrial Apprenticeship / National Department (SENAI / DN) and the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC). The program aims at training, development and integration of domestic companies participating in the clusters of various economic sectors. In the case study, the project was developed in the segment of Information Technology (IT). With the development of APLs some financial results were found such as, for example, growth of 34.12% in net sales in the APL A between the first and second diagnosis performed as well as 4.45% and 26.98% respectively in APL and B C. To complement the study were suggested improvements in the method of work for the implementation of projects of this nature.
