A importância da economia do conhecimento na era da indústria 4.0: uma revisão sistemática

Abstract

There is currently a worldwide growing trend of implantation or advancement of the characteristic principles of the new industrial age in the most different sectors of society; obviously, manufacturing, and industrial productions organizations will be the first and, not by chance, the main sectors affected by the advent of this new digital age that is being considered as the fourth industrial revolution to be experienced in human history. Such a revolution is also known by the terminology Industry 4.0. Aligned with this context, this research work aims to carry out a systematic literature review on the importance of the knowledge economy in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, highlighting the impacts of knowledge as immaterial capital in favor of maintaining the employability of individuals in society. According to the information compiled in this research work, the importance of universities as driving agents for the development and valorization of the knowledge economy was evident, since there is a significant expectation of society to receive from universities the necessary qualification to be included, in the condition of qualified and competitive professionals, in the labor market in line with the requirements of the concepts and principles of Industry 4.0.
