GAMIFICATION AS A TEACHING RESOURCE IN INDUSTRIAL LEARNING COURSES

This research reports the analysis of gamified activities as a teaching resource. The research was applied to students studying industrial learning in information technology courses at the SENAI institution, in Santa Catarina, in the city of Timbó in 2023. The study aims to understand the contribution in the teaching-learning process in relation to the application of gamification methodology. The action research method was used in this study, which enabled a qualitative analysis in conjunction with the exploratory activity of the results. As a data collection tool, observation was used during the implementation of the gamified activities, followed by an evaluative questionnaire applied via the GoogleForms platform and ending with a debate with students about the results of the evaluative questionnaire on the evaluation of the activity. The data obtained was analyzed and discussed with the theoretical framework in the area of education, gamification and teaching-learning. The results showed students' approval for the use of gamification as a teaching tool and benefits were seen for the teaching-learning process, by providing students' engagement and commitment, positively affecting their performance and thus their learning gains.
