Skills in educational project, programs and school practices Promoting the process of teaching and learning, to transcend the training only content and disciplinary oriented and to involve the broader skills development, has been a challenge for teachers. This article aims to discuss this perspective and inspire others to devise exercises in other disciplines and areas of knowledge, in order to contemplate the formative path of students, startin from a humanistic and critic education. The educational project of schools of basic education should promote the development of knowledge, human values and also skills, which are not restricted and are not limited to preparation for work.
