This work develops an application that can provide as much mobility and access to diverse services as found today in a traditional PBX. In a practical sense, it describes the necessary procedures for the implementation of an embedded Asterisk PBX. It does this through one access point that uses a general public license. It also describes the choice of the hardware, software updates, content integrity verification through MD5, Linux installation, and installation of some services of Asterisk, choice of VoIP suppliers and providers and further expansion of the physical memory of equipment. The system was installed in a Lynksys WRT54GL wireless router, that also runs a voice server, without losing its basic functions such as DHCP server, LAN router, wireless router and gateway.
