Abstract

Understanding the relationship between the entrepreneur and the competencies that permeate his actions, as well as knowing what exactly the required competencies of entrepreneurs are, is a constant subject in research. Trying to contribute to this understanding, this article aimed to present the entrepreneurial skills evidenced in the literature. This is a theoretical research that searched the Scopus database for articles from the past three years that contained the term Entrepreneurial Skills as a keyword. From the documents read out were the nine main competencies of entrepreneurs: taking advantage of opportunities; ability to take risks; relationship and network of contacts; strategies, planning and goals; administrative competence and search of information; know-how; commitment, persistence and resilience; quality and efficiency; independence and self-confidence. It is important to emphasize that the entrepreneurial characteristics have emerged as a differential, since the organizations look for professionals who undertake not only in their own businesses, but also are intra-entrepreneurs in the organizations in which they work. Therefore, seeking the development of these skills becomes an important element for today's professional. Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Skills, Entrepreneurial Skills.
