This article presents a project developed by students from the Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design in partnership with Unisenai/Unesc, involving the creation of historical miniature garments. In the course "Historical Conceptions: Design, Art, and Fashion," students were challenged to recreate historical clothing for dolls using the SENAI Professional Education Methodology (MSEP). The goal was to integrate historical knowledge with creativity, promoting a deep understanding of the evolution of clothing. Students engaged in expository and interactive classes on the chronology of clothing, covering periods from Prehistory to the Renaissance. They explored how fashion evolved from a basic need for protection to a form of cultural and personal expression. During the Renaissance, fashion emerged as a significant cultural phenomenon, reflecting social and artistic changes. The methodology included discussion circles to encourage critical thinking, practical activities in the creativity lab for fashion illustration, and sewing sessions for garment creation. The exhibition of mini looks to the academic community allowed students to connect theory with practice, highlighting the cultural and historical relevance of clothing. The experience provided a deeper understanding of fashion evolution, aligning students' technical training with market demands and promoting an innovative approach to teaching. The MSEP proved effective in developing critical professionals well-prepared to face future challenges.
