In recent decades, we have witnessed important changes in production processes as a result of the intensification of the use of technologies and automation that impacted social and environmental activities in society. This is the context in which the Knowledge Workers are inserted. The general objective of the study was to analyze the skills of these workers and how they contribute to changes in organizations aiming at their sustainable development. The methodology used was the Systematic Review of Literature-RSL in Brazilian databases BDTD, CAPES, SciELO. 112 were selected ( one hundred and twelve) publications. After the filters, 11 (eleven) were analyzed in line with the research question. In the end, we built 3 (three) categories of analysis: Social/business responsibility, sustainable development and information management. The RSL demonstrated that the theme is not explored directly in the articles. In the final considerations, we point out that the knowledge worker is the one who is capable of transforming data and information into knowledge with added value. she believes, related to her purpose, which in turn, relates to social and organizational intelligence.
