Abstract

To meet the demands of the 21st century, as we move away from industrial society to enter the knowledge society, education must adapt. Industry 4.0 is an example of the approaching changes, as it encompasses the major technological innovations in the fields of automation, control and information technology. This means that we live in a new period in the industrial context. The Knowledge Engineering was configured in this study with a support for the education, since it has a robust possibility of methodologies that are adapted to the development of systems involving tasks of knowledge management. In this context, verifying the use of the CommonKADS Methodology in education was the focus of this systematic review. To do so, a search was made in the databases PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science and Scienc Direct, in addition to the data obtained from Google Scholar. Of the 42 articles obtained in the searches, 18 were the target of this study, since they met the basic requirement: use of CommonKADS methodology in education. Although with few researches reporting this interaction, the results pointed out different possibilities in supporting the teaching and learning process from explicit models for identification and representation of knowledge, as well as a clear description of input-output relationships between the models.
